Health
Care Reform: Still Alive in 2011
April

Indiana Chamber
Conference Center, Indianapolis
Presented by
Almost a year has passed since health
care reform became law through the Patient Protection and Affordable Care
Act. Since then, federal agencies have issued numerous regulations,
plaintiffs have filed lawsuits challenging its constitutionality (with
differing results) and Congress has attempted to repeal the Act. But,
it's not over yet. Many employers have yet to comply with the
"first round" of changes that must be implemented and
additional changes are coming soon - including auto-enrollment, the
elimination of waiting periods and new reporting requirements.
Join the Indiana Chamber and Ice Miller
for a review of how employers are dealing with health reform, what you
should be doing and what to expect in the future. Subjects to be
addressed at this half-day seminar include:
- status
of repeal efforts and court challenges;
- lessons
learned from early implementation and "mythbusters;" and
- new
regulations and other guidance impacting employers, including
establishment of exchanges and employer/individual penalties.
