Labor and Employment Disputes

Ice Miller's services to our clients include planning, counseling and training in an attempt to minimize employment problems and the risk of lawsuits. We also assist employers in connection with efforts by labor unions to organize their employees. When labor and employment disputes do occur, however, we have a wealth of experience in representing the needs of employers. For many years, Ice Miller has represented employers involved in strikes that may be in violation of collective bargaining agreements or labor laws. We have obtained restraining orders and injunctions from state and federal courts ordering that striking employees return to work. In addition, Ice Miller has pursued lawsuits for damages against strikers and their unions.
