Wetlands

Ice Miller assists clients in all manner of wetlands issues. Generally, a wetland is an area that is saturated by surface or ground water with vegetation adapted for life under those soil conditions, such as swamps, bogs, fens, marshes, and estuaries. Ice Miller has experience in permitting under the Clean Water Act, which sets the basic structure for regulating the discharge of pollutants to waters of the United States and in associated state regulations.
