Ice Miller has experience representing all parties in the adoption process: adoptive parents, adoption agencies, and even birth parents. The Firm has participated in all varieties of adoptions including both agency and private placements, as well as domestic, interstate, and international adoptions. While much of the Firm's practice is focused on satisfying the many requirements that must be in order to obtain court approval of an adoption, Ice Miller is frequently called upon to take over the handling of an adoption after it becomes contested, both at the trial court level and on appeal.
