Ice Miller’s Insurance Coverage, Counseling and Cost Recovery Group helps policyholders obtain coverage from their property and liability insurers, D&O and E&O insurers, environmental insurers, and other specialty insurance carriers. We have also helped clients obtain reimbursement from the Federal Emergency Management Agency in cases where our clients’ losses exceeded policy limits. As of October 2008, Ice Miller appeared as counsel of record in 95 reported opinions in cases involving insurance coverage or insurance issues, and had recovered over $184 million on behalf of policyholders. In addition, Ice Miller attorneys routinely counsel clients about insurance and risk management issues.
