Mike Jordan to Present at the 35th Annual Joint Patent Practice Seminar

Ice Miller attorney Mike Jordan will present “How Do Facts and/or Asserted Conventionality Factor into the Legal Question of What is Patent Eligible Subject Matter?” at the 35th Annual Joint Patent Practice (JPP) Seminar in New York on May 2.

Mike’s presentation will center on Berkheimer v. HP Inc., 881 F. 3d 1360 (Fed. Cir. 2018), its significance and its implications. It will be held during Panel 5 – Litigation from 3:15 to 5:00 p.m. Mike will begin his presentation at 4:35 p.m.

The JPPCLE Seminar is an all-day event dedicated to cultivating discussion around recent cases, legislation and regulations involving patent law and practice. More than 300 patent attorneys and professionals will be in attendance. It is hosted by Joint Patent Practice Continuing Legal Education, Inc., a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing continuing legal education.

Mike Jordan is of counsel in Ice Miller’s Intellectual Property Group. Mike’s practice includes infringement studies, freedom-to-operate opinions, transaction due diligence, invalidity analyses, and patentability analyses. He also represents clients in trade secret, patent and software development, and licensing matters.
