Heather Adams Selected for Ohio Women’s Bar Foundation Leadership Institute

Heather Renée Adams, of counsel in Ice Miller’s Labor and Employment Group, has been selected for the Ohio Women’s Bar Foundation’s Leadership Institute Class of 2019-2020.

The program produces six all-day training sessions throughout the 2019-2020 season. Each session focuses on a leadership development strategy. Past sessions have included such topics as public speaking, effective communication, negotiation and professional branding, effective leadership and more.

The Ohio Women’s Bar Foundation created the Leadership Institute to advance inclusiveness within the legal profession and supplement the professional skills of women lawyers by enhancing leadership, business development and communication skills for the benefit of the diverse communities in which they work, live and serve.

Heather is a business-oriented labor and employment attorney who regularly advises and represents clients in high-stakes whistleblower actions and various other areas of employment law before the United States Supreme Court, state and federal appellate courts, federal district courts, and administrative agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and various other state employment and labor agencies.
