Ice Miller Wins Teddy Bear Challenge Third Year in a Row
December 13, 2018
Ice Miller’s Indianapolis paralegals won the Teddy Bear Challenge, sponsored by the Indianapolis Bar Association Paralegal Committee, for the third year in a row. The Firm received a Certificate of Recognition at the Indianapolis Bar Association paralegal Committee’s Holiday Luncheon on Dec. 6.

The challenge benefits the “Bears on Patrol” Program of the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, the Indianapolis Fire Department, the Indianapolis EMS and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. The stuffed animals and teddy bears donated through this program are given to children experiencing difficult circumstances or hardship.

Paralegals led each floor of the Indianapolis office in collecting new and “gently-loved” stuffed animals, 18 inches or smaller. Ice Miller donated 2,477 of the 6,566 stuffed animals and teddy bears donated by all challenge participants.

Ice Miller commends all who were involved in the fundraiser in the spirit of holiday giving and for their support of our police, sheriffs, firemen and women, first responders and emergency workers who use these donations to comfort children in difficult times.
