Ice Miller Wins Teddy Bear Challenge Fourth Year in a Row

Ice Miller Wins Teddy Bear Challenge Fourth Year in a Row
December 10, 2019

Ice Miller paralegals collected 1,798 teddy bears for the 2019 Teddy Bear Challenge, sponsored by the Indianapolis Bar Association Paralegal Committee. For the fourth year in a row, the Firm received a Certificate of Recognition for most bears collected. The Certificate was presented at the Indianapolis Bar Association Paralegal Committee’s Holiday Luncheon on December 6.

The challenge benefits the “Bears on Patrol” Program of the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, the Indianapolis Fire Department, the Indianapolis EMS and the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. The teddy bears and stuffed animals donated through the program are given to children during difficult circumstances.

Paralegals lead each floor of the Indianapolis office in collecting new and gently-loved stuffed animals. This is not only the fourth win for Ice Miller, but also the fourth win for the 31st floor led by team captains Asaka Cadio and Katie Dickson.

Ice Miller wishes to thank all those involved in this year’s Teddy Bear Challenge for supporting the spirit of holiday giving and our police, sheriffs, firemen and women, first responders and emergency workers who use these donations to comfort children in hardship.
