Ice Miller's Commitment to Indiana's Agbioscience Sector

Ice Miller's Commitment to Indiana's Agbioscience Sector
January 29, 2019
The recently announced call for proposals issued by the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) and the Israel Innovation Authority presents a positive opportunity for Indiana companies to partner with foreign businesses. The two organizations are collaborating on ways to enhance and grow innovation in the agbiosciences sector and support research focused on these high-tech solutions.

Melissa Proffitt, Partner-in-Charge of Client Relations, traveled to Israel in May 2018 with Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb and a delegation of Indiana leaders to tell the story of Indiana’s agbioscience sector.

“As a member of the delegation, it was our role to learn about Israel’s rich culture and its investment in agriculture, technology and innovation and to build relationships with leaders we hoped would turn into business collaborations for Indiana,” stated Proffitt. “Our agriculture and tech leaders accomplished that on the trip, and these relationships have turned into investments for our agbioscience sector in the state.”
