Ice Miller is proud to serve as presenting sponsor of the new semi-permanent Children’s Museum of Indianapolis exhibit Take Me There: Greece. The exhibit will debut on Saturday, June 15 at 10 a.m.
Take Me There: Greece will be one of the largest exhibitions on contemporary Greece in the United States, centering on such cultural focal points as the Greek people, their homes, markets, art, music, dancing and the environment in which they live today. The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis will simultaneously launch the special temporary exhibit Treasures of Ancient Greece, which will feature one-of-a-kind antiquities directly from Greece.
Museum friends and donors, civic leaders and corporate citizens will celebrate the exhibit’s launch at the Golden Age of Greece Gala, also sponsored by Ice Miller, at 7 p.m. following museum close. The Golden Age of Greece Gala is a fundraising event that will help support The Children’s Museum Fund, ensuring all children and families have the opportunity to experience the Museum regardless of income.
Ice Miller partner Phil Genetos and his wife, Dorothea, are co-chairs of the Golden Age of Greece Gala. Phil is a past chair of the Children’s Museum Board of Trustees, and Dorothea is a past Haunted House co-chair.
