On this weekend’s “Inside Innovation” segment, Steve discussed the ways Ice Miller’s new office is not just a step forward for law in Indiana, but also for innovation. He shared the ways Ice Miller attorneys meet the needs of changing technology through various practice areas.

“We’ve had a strong IP practice for a long time,” Steve said. “A lot of the Firm’s growth has been driving client needs in technology.”

Steve explained the strategic choice to open an office in Philadelphia, one of the ten most populated cities in the country and a hot spot for patent law. Regardless, he emphasized that all Ice Miller locations are part of a cohesive unit that works as a team.

“A key element of our culture is teamwork,” Steve explained. “We train our lawyers to focus as members of a team. We serve our clients as team members, and we look at offices as part of a team.”

Office Managing Partner Frederick Tecce leads the new group of Philadelphia intellectual property lawyers offering a range of legal services including preparation, filing and prosecution of patent, copyright and trademark applications.

Ice Miller is home to more than 340 legal professionals in more than 20 practice areas across eight locations, following this expansion.
