Matt Ehinger to Present at Toy Association Annual Business Conference
May 13, 2019

Ice Miller partner Matt Ehinger will present “Selling Direct to Consumers: eCommerce Tax Implications” at the Toy Association Annual Business Conference on June 18 at 12:00 p.m. in Minneapolis.

Matt’s session will cover the United States Supreme Court’s decision in Wayfair and the resulting questions, some answered and others left uncertain, regarding all the new sales tax laws and regulations vendors now have to grapple with when making sales to consumers, both to the final consumer and other retailers.

The Toy Association’s Annual Business Conference is a two-day event that gathers retail professionals across the country to discuss the issues affecting the industry today. This year, the conference will be held in Minneapolis, where Target will lead several conversations on the future of retail, the role of licensing, sustainable sourcing, digital marketing and the benefit of the Target Media Network and the role of play and leisure and its impact on guest experiences. The NPD Group, a market research company, will also provide insights on legislative regulations, intellectual property rights and brand protection, credit risk in the current retail environment and financing options, acquisitions and investor opportunities.
