Ice Miller Supports Trinity Haven, Indiana's First LGBTQ Youth Home

Ice Miller continues to donate legal services to Trinity Haven, the first residence in Indiana dedicated to LGBTQ youth who are experiencing homelessness. The Trinity Haven initiative is a work in progress and continues to benefit from the support of various organizations from the surrounding community.

In December 2017, Indianapolis Office Managing Partner and Chair of the Food and Agribusiness Group, Melissa Proffitt, was named to the National FFA Foundation Sponsors’ Board for a three-year term of service. Over the years, Ice Miller has shown our support in many ways, such as sponsoring career workshops and student scholarships and facilitating special networking and informational events.

California Governor Signs Country’s First IoT Law

California legislation introduced in March 2017 has been signed into law by the Governor. Senate Bill 327, “Information privacy: connected devices”, will make California the first U.S. state to regulate Internet of Things devices, even ahead of the federal government.
