Nick Merker Moderated Panel at Indianapolis Forbes AgTech Summit

Nick Merker, partner and co-chair of Ice Miller’s Data Security and Privacy Practice, moderated a panel at the first Forbes AgTech Summit held in Indianapolis Sept. 26-27.

The panel presentation, titled “Blockchain: A Better Way to Manage Supply Chain?” included panelists Ramesh Gopinath, Vice President of Supply Chain Solutions at IBM Food Trust; Renato Hersz, Strategy and Corporate Development Director of Solinftec; and Ron Zink, Chief Technology Officer of Growers Holdings, Inc. The panel was held at 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 27.

The Forbes AgTech Summit convened agricultural leaders, technological innovators and entrepreneurs to discuss solutions for the challenges facing the world food supply. The event featured various topics for panel discussions, networking opportunities and showcases of the latest agricultural innovations. Indiana Economic Development Corporation and AgriNovus Indiana were Host Partners for the Summit.
