Ice Miller Receives LASC/CBA/CBF Pro Bono Award

Ice Miller LLP received the 2019 Pro Bono Award for Service by a Law Firm or Corporation at the 2019 Pro Bono Reception during the ABA National Pro Bono Celebration Week at the Columbus Bar Association on Thursday, October 24. The Pro Bono Awards are presented by The Legal Aid Society of Columbus (LASC), Columbus Bar Association (CBA) and Columbus Bar Foundation (CBF).

Ice Miller was awarded for our commitment to working on Volunteer Resource Center pro bono case referrals and at the LASC Tenant Advocacy Project (TAP) Clinic. On February 7, 2019, attorneys from TAP and Ice Miller set a record of assisting in 27 eviction cases.

Partner John Gilligan, who also serves as pro bono coordinator and a LASC board member, accepted the award on behalf of the Firm during the award reception.
