1L LCLD Scholars Program

Ice Miller proudly participates in the LCLD Scholars Program and will award one (1) LCLD Scholar opportunity to a 1L law student (anticipated graduation in 2025) for the Summer of 2023 who will be based in our Indianapolis office. The program provides broad exposure to a variety of practice areas. You will come away with a deep understanding of a “day in the life” of an Ice Miller attorney, and you’ll also gain a sense of how our work impacts our clients.
                     
During this 10-week program the LCLD Scholar will have:

• Opportunities to develop direct working relationships with our attorneys to improve your research, writing, and presentation skills.
• Guidance and mentoring from an associate mentor and partner coach.
• Opportunities for client contact.
• Participation in social events and activities including dinner outings, team building activities, a community service day, and gatherings hosted by our partners.
• A competitive weekly stipend.

Applicants should:

• Excel in a team environment and exhibit excellent interpersonal skills.
• Be highly motivated and a self-starter.
• Be flexible and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Have excellent written and verbal communication, as well as analytical and legal research skills.
• Have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
• Have served in a variety of leadership positions and volunteer experiences.
• Have strong law school and undergraduate credentials.
