Ice Miller is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 3 years’ of litigation experience to join our Columbus or Indianapolis office and become part of a team that represents clients in a variety of litigation matters around the country. Candidates must have excellent legal research and writing skills, strong oral communication skills, a team-oriented mentality, and be a motivated self-starter with strong law school credentials and references. This is a non-partnership track position that presents significant flexibility in terms of billable hours and remote working arrangements.  
 
In this position you will:

• Receive training opportunities and mentoring
• Interact with clients and be responsible for executing the litigation strategy
• Collaborate with talented and team-oriented attorneys across offices
• Be allowed to work remotely on a mutually agreeable schedule
• Have a more predictable schedule with less expectations of availability as partnership track attorneys

The ideal candidate will:

• Have strong litigation skills including independently drafting, managing, and responding to discovery, drafting pleadings, conducting research and analyzing cases, constructing and responding to legal arguments, preparing for depositions and taking/defending depositions.
• Excel in a team environment
• Be highly motivated and a self-starter
• Be flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Demonstrate a keen interest in developing and implementing relationship-building skills both internally and externally
• Have prior experiences that prepare them to work with attorneys, staff and clients from cultures and backgrounds different from their own
• Have strong written and oral communication skills
• Have strong law school credentials and references
