Litigation and Practice Support Coordinator

Job Description:
The Litigation & Practice Support Coordinator will oversee the activities involved in the design, creation, and maintenance of databases used by the Firm's attorneys. This position must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive materials, and maintain strict confidentiality due to the nature of the position.  

Essential Job Duties: 
•Oversee the design and development phases of implementing new hardware/software and database systems to meet the Firm's standards and reporting requirements
•Works closely with the Litigation and Practice Support Manger to provide project management and consultative assistance to internal and external clients relating to eDiscovery and Data Management issues 
•Assist in the development of technical standards, policies, and procedures for the utilization in overall litigation & practice support operations
•Provide case team training and technical support for litigation and practice support applications 
•Assist with providing training to staff on the use of litigation/practice support tools, concepts and procedures
•Maintain data validity when processing, converting, formatting, importing and exporting data and transcripts into and out of designated databases
•Responsible for e-discovery matter lifecycle data management in varying electronic formats
•Recommend technical solutions, provide quality control and matter management for all databases overseen, as well as, assist in diagnosing and correcting production issues
•Prepare presentation databases, assist with video clip creation and exhibit annotation. 
•Facilitate the development of project objectives, scope and work plans for assignments using best practices and established procedures
•Utilize editing and conversion tools and vendor repositories such as:, Relativity, West Case Notebook, CaseMap, SharePoint, LAW pre-discovery, Trial Director or similar solutions

Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline preferred
•Training or certification in relevant technologies preferred
•Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Practice Management, Litigation Support, E-Discovery or Data Management role preferred
•Preferred candidates will have an advanced user, administrative, and working knowledge of litigation support systems including: Relativity, West Case Notebook, CaseMap, SharePoint, LAW pre-discovery, Trial Director or similar solutions 
•Advanced understanding of the litigation support process 
•Substantial document control and case management knowledge
•Functional knowledge of data forensic collection and analysis
•Experience with collecting, managing, organizing and producing e-Discovery
•Experience in exporting and importing data from a variety of formats
•Ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy while working in high-pressure and time-sensitive situations
•Must be proficient in time management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
•Must be able to perform all essential duties
