Litigation & Practice Support Analyst

Job Description:
The Litigation Support Analyst will oversee the activities involved in the design, creation, and maintenance of databases used by the Firm's attorneys. This position must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive materials and maintain strict confidentiality due to the nature of the position.  

Essential Job Duties: 
  • Oversee the design and development phases of implementing new hardware/software and database systems to meet the Firm's design and reporting requirements
  • Assist in the development of technical standards, policies, and procedures for the utilization in overall litigation support operations
  • Provide case team training and technical support for litigation support applications
  • Assist with providing training to staff on the use of litigation support tools, concepts and procedures
  • Assist with the coordination of projects and vendors assigned to the Litigation and Practice Support department. 
  • Maintain data validity when processing, converting, formatting, importing and exporting data and transcripts into and out of designated databases
  • Responsible for e-discovery in various electronic platforms
  • Recommend technical solutions and provide quality control for all databases overseen as well as assist in diagnosing and correcting production issues
  • Prepare presentation databases, assist with video clip creation and exhibit annotation. 
  • Facilitate the development of project objectives, scope and work plans for assignments using best practices and established procedures
  • Utilize editing and conversion tools and vendor repositories such as: Relativity, iConnect, IPRO eCapture, West Live Note, CaseMap, SharePoint, LAW pre-discovery, Trial Director or similar solutions
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline required; education, training or certification in relevant technologies, in addition to bachelor's degree preferred 
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Practice Management, Litigation Support or E-Discovery role
  • Preferred candidates will have an advanced user, administrative, and working knowledge of litigation support systems such as: Relativity, iConnect, IPRO eCapture, West Live Note, CaseMap, SharePoint, LAW pre-discovery, Trial Director or similar solutions 
  • Advanced understanding of the litigation support process 
  • Substantial document control and case management knowledge
  • Functional knowledge of data forensic collection and analysis
  • Experience with collecting, managing, organizing and producing e-Discovery
  • Experience in exporting and importing data from a variety of formats
  • Ability to demonstrate tact and diplomacy while working in high-pressure and time-sensitive situations
  • Must be proficient in time management, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
  • Must be able to perform all essential duties
