The Network Engineer is responsible for collaborating on the design and architecture of the Firm's LAN/WAN and telecommunications environment while executing the ongoing maintenance of the overall network. This position provides technical expertise for enterprise integrated, converged network including Global MPLS, wireless, router, switch and firewall configuration, support and security. 
Essential Job Duties: 
•Configure, troubleshoot, and monitor network related infrastructure including wireless controllers, routers, switches, voice and network based firewalls
•Maintain and optimize the organization's LAN/WAN infrastructure, IPS/IDS and firewalls
•Manage DNS through third party
•Analyze network traffic, identifying methods for optimization
•Coordinate and maintain QOS levels with the IT team
•Serve as a resource for Tier II-III-level Service Desk Support issues to assist in timely resolution on all Cisco and related application issues
•Create and maintain documentation for all system processes and procedures to ensure standardization and compliance
Minimum Requirements:
•Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field required; or 5 years of equivalent combination of education and work experience
•Understanding of the Security Principles of Network Architecture
•Expert working knowledge of LAN/ WAN, IDS/IPS and Layer 7 firewall
•Minimum CCNA, CCNP level preferred 
•Legal industry technical experience a plus
•Able to work within a diverse team to achieve project, departmental, and business goals
•Must be able to perform all essential duties
