Professional Development Asst. & CLE Coordinator

Job Description:
The Professional Development Assistant & Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Coordinator will be responsible for providing strong, independent administrative support to the attorney development team and related committees as well as coordinating the CLE program. The employee must be capable of working independently, using good judgment in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive materials and maintain strict confidentiality due to the nature of the position.

Essential Duties:
•Provide support and assistance, including but not limited to scheduling meetings, setting up programs, calendaring, invoices, expense reimbursements, and travel arrangements
•Coordinate the Firm’s CLE programs for attorneys, including applying for CLE credit, tracking, reporting, and in-house program setup 
•Provide critical support to attorneys and legal assistants in responding to CLE questions and CLE tracking
•Provide administrative support to the Firm’s Attorney Feedback and Development Committee (AFDC), the Associate & Counsel Committee (ACC), and other committees or ad hoc committees that the team serves , including calendaring, maintaining files, arranging committee meetings, document production, preparing agendas, and meeting room setup 
•Produce regular reports from databases and provide in readable, useable formats
•Provide excellent customer service to attorneys, prospective candidates, and other professionals throughout the Firm in responding to questions and concerns regarding the Team’s activities
•Interface with external vendors to implement necessary changes and upgrades, problem-solve, and identify new processes to improve systems
•Schedule meetings and ensure all a/v, catering, and meeting room, including virtual, needs are set-up for trainings, academies, and meetings
•Provide in-program technical support during virtual training sessions including assisting with log-in problems, assigning groups to breakout rooms, and monitoring chat function
•Learn any technologies adopted now or in the future to manage Team programs such as professional development platforms 
•Input accurately and manage data in multiple databases, including viEval, IceLearn, Smartsheets, and any future programs adopted by the team
•Create and disseminate surveys and feedback requests, and analyze survey results
•Meaningfully contribute to improvement of Team’s programs, policies, and procedures
•Work with a diverse group of professionals and provide exceptional customer service 
•Provide back up support to the Recruiting Assistant as needed 
•Assist with various research projects/special projects as requested 

Minimum Requirements:
•High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
•Prior experience in customer service
•Committed to professional growth and continuous learning  
•Strong attention to detail 
•Strong written and verbal communication skills 
•Ability to research and analyze various types of data 
•Ability to coordinate several projects and operate under tight deadlines 
•Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with a diverse group of people
•Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high degree of diplomacy 
•Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills and ability to learn other computer programs quickly 
•Ability to perform all essential duties
