Meet John Burke

John Burke left an international law firm in 2005 to join Ice Miller’s Chicago office. John grew his practice by providing high quality legal services at regional market rates. John found that Ice Miller had the depth and capabilities to handle the most complex lawsuits while keeping costs down through competitive billing rates and attractive fee arrangements. John has benefitted from a culture where the focus is on the clients and not billing books or origination.
John successfully integrated his practice into the Firm and introduced his clients to new practice areas at Ice Miller. John is looking for new partners like himself that want to offer tier-one legal services to their clients with a more competitive rate structure. “If you like the culture of hunting in packs and finding business for the Firm, Ice Miller might be the right fit for you.”

He also enjoys that Ice Miller is truly a law firm rather than a professional corporation. Decisions are still made by management that reflects the input and consideration of the partners.
