Indiana Public Broadcasting Stations (IPBS) is the state association of eight public TV stations and nine public radio stations serving Indiana residents. IPBS serves markets reaching from the Ohio River to lower Michigan, and the stations reflect the diversity of their home markets. IPBS has been fortunate to receive state funding since the mid-1970s.

IPBS considered a wide range of advocacy firms before hiring Ice Miller in January 2014. IPBS initially engaged Ice Miller's Government Relations Team to address public funding. Ice Miller's Team understood the details, challenges and nuances of the public broadcasting industry. The Firm utilized its experience and strong relationships within the Indiana Statehouse to create effective legislative strategies to support IPBS. Ice Miller attorneys and public affairs professionals have coached IPBS leaders to be strong spokespersons who are readily equipped with the right message for any situation.

Beyond state government, the Ice Miller Team coordinates with IPBS' national partners to help advocate for federal support and service partnerships.

IPBS also counts on Ice Miller for business and service development counsel from a state and national perspective. The Ice Miller Team ensures IPBS leaders are prepared with strong documentation and a supportive communications strategy to help IPBS advocate complex initiatives.

IPBS is proud to report that as of June 2018, IPBS enjoys the highest level of annual state funding it has ever had in its history.
