Early Learning Indiana has named Freedom S.N. Smith to its board of directors. She is a partner in the Indianapolis office of Ice Miller LLP. Early Learning Indiana’s board of directors represents some of the state’s top public, private and philanthropic organizations, lending their wisdom, passion and dedication to ensure all children are empowered with essential skills to be successful in kindergarten and beyond.

Smith also serves on the Executive Committee for the Environmental Law Section of the Indiana State Bar Association and serves on the Planning Committee for ISBA’s Leadership Development Academy Program. She is on the Board of Directors for Earth Day Indiana and the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana’s Community Engagement Committee.
