Michael Coleman Interviewed for The HistoryMakers Archive

60 Minutes ran
a segment on The HistoryMakers Collection, a national non-profit research and educational institution committed to preserving and making widely accessible the untold personal stories of both well-known and unsung African Americans. Over nearly two decades, The HistoryMakers has assembled a collection of over 3,000 and growing interviews to educate the world about African American life, history, and culture.
Ice Miller partner and the City of Columbus' longest-serving and first African American mayor,
Michael Coleman, was interviewed for the project in April 2012. His interview featured several tapes where he discussed his family background, his early influences in the black business community of Toledo, Ohio, and various parts of his career, including his camipaign for the mayoralty of Cloumbus,Ohio.
