Michael Reese Quoted in Columbus Dispatch: "New Bike-Sharing Service Lets You Ride, Park and Be On Your Way"

Ice Miller Whiteboard's Director of Public Advocacy and Business Development Michael Reese was quoted in the Columbus Dispatch article, "New Bike-Sharing Service Lets You Ride, Park and Be On Your Way."

Mike Reese, director of public advocacy and business development at local law firm Ice Miller, represents the company and said Lime representatives first met with the city in September.

“We worked over nine months to come to terms with the city on this,” said Reese, who was chief of staff for former Mayor Michael B. Coleman and works with Coleman, who is a lawyer at Ice Miller. “It was a rigorous, methodical process.”

Reese said the bikes were put in neighborhoods that CoGo didn’t serve, or were not next to CoGo areas.

“The one thing that the city was very clear on was we had to go out to neighborhoods to brief them, get some support,” he said.
