Alice Kelly Named Chair of the International Trademark Association Pro Bono Committee

Ice Miller LLP partner Alice Kelly was recently named chair of the International Trademark Association (INTA) Pro Bono Committee for 2022-2023. 

Alice is an active member of INTA, a global not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting trademarks and related intellectual property. She previously served as the subcommittee chair for the organization’s Pro Bono Committee and in 2019, she received an INTA Service Award for her exemplary service to the organization. 

Comprised of nearly 6,500 organizations from 185 countries, INTA represents more than 34,350 professionals, including brand owners from major corporations, small- and medium-sized enterprises, law firms, and nonprofits. As chair of the Pro Bono Committee, Alice will lead committee members to support the organization’s pro bono initiatives.

In Alice’s IP practice, she handles all aspects of trademark law and global brand management, from global clearance and registration to enforcement of those rights through litigation in United States federal courts. 

Alice has tried cases in federal, state and arbitral forums and routinely handles matters before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. In addition to trademark law, Alice’s practice includes copyrights, trade secrets, franchise enforcement and licensing. 

Beyond her involvement in INTA’s Pro Bono Committee, Alice regularly represents children and children's rights advocates in pro bono cases.
