Attorney Michael Ott Joins Ice Miller’s Bankruptcy Practice
Michael Ott is an attorney in Ice Miller’s Bankruptcy and Financial Restructuring Practice, where he counsels banks, financial institutions and other creditors in distressed situations. He is experienced in all aspects of the workout, restructuring and bankruptcy process, providing clients with thorough analysis and creative solutions.
Mike has extensive experience with commercial litigation, including litigation involving complex financial instruments and transactions. Mike thrives on tackling difficult problems and developing strategies to maximize his clients’ leverage and, ultimately, their recoveries, whether through negotiation or litigation.

He recognizes the signs of a fraudulent enterprise and counsels clients on how best to respond and protect their interests after fraud has been uncovered.
Mike earned his juris doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana, where he served as the senior managing editor of the
Indiana Law Journal. Mike graduated from the College of William and Mary, where he majored in mathematics.
