Ice Miller LLP is pleased to announce that the following lawyers have become partners of the Firm: 

Siddharth Bose, focuses his practice on the intersection of technology and law. He counsels clients on various data security, privacy and compliance matters. As a former IT systems engineer, Bose leverages his past IT experience to advise clients on matters related to privacy law, vendor negotiations and agreements, audit and compliance, data breaches and incident response, disaster recovery, and fast emerging technologies including blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), privacy and large-scale data analytics, and augmented/virtual reality.

John Cannizzaro helps clients solve financial problems, working with them on UCC issues, loans, workouts and other financial transactions. He also frequently represents clients in debtor/creditor disputes, commercial and bankruptcy litigation and other insolvency matters.

Ryanne Dent focuses her practice on complex commercial, construction, and fiduciary litigation in both state and federal courts. Dent represents commercial clients through the contracting, construction, and litigation processes, working with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, developers, owners, lenders, and title insurance underwriters.

Samuel Gardner focuses his practice on insurance coverage matters, managing claims and advocating policy construction that maximize the available insurance recovery. Gardner has experience handling coverage matters in multiple state and federal courts. He also provides policyholders with counseling on pre-loss issues, ranging from assessments of coverage for particular risks to help with securing favorable coverage terms at policy inception or renewal.

Louie Jorczak handles all manners of business disputes for his clients. Part of his practice focuses on environmental matters, and Jorczak has litigated many issues before state and federal courts related to cost recovery claims and claims under the federal CERCLA statute. His practice also focuses on litigating non-compete claims, as well as breach of contract, breach of warranty, and insurance coverage. 

Amanda Morton advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate entity formation and structure, corporate transitions, international contracts and international compliance matters. She also has experience advising lenders regarding commercial real estate loan structure and documentation, drafting and negotiating commercial leases, loan defeasance transactions, mezzanine loans, construction loans, borrowing base value modifications and loan assumption transactions.

Jeffrey Platt concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, banking, employment litigation, and international law. Platt also has experience handling the defense of legal malpractice claims involving underlying cases dealing with business torts, civil rights, contracts, copyright, corporate law, estate planning, real estate, RICO, securities and trademark matters. 

Samuel Porter III focuses his practice in Ice Miller’s Public Affairs and Gaming practices.  His background combines public service, government counsel, liquor control and gaming compliance, which allows him to provide multi-dimensional service to his clients.

Samuel Raboy represents financial sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as strategic buyers, in a wide range of transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts, restructurings, growth equity financings and other investments. Raboy has extensive experience representing buyers and sellers in public and private mergers and acquisitions, including joint ventures and equity co-investments, and regularly counsels clients on general corporate matters and corporate governance.

Evan Sarosi focuses his practice on representation of institutional investors and other limited partners in alternative investments. He also concentrates his practice on private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions involving debt and equity offerings.

Mike Tirman advises and represents clients in all areas of real estate law, including acquisitions and dispositions, financing (including various forms of Sharīʿah-compliant financing), ground leasing, development, land use and zoning, entity structuring, and joint ventures.

Nicole Woods focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, with a particular focus on financial services litigation and arbitration, contract disputes, business torts, and construction disputes. During her tenure at Ice Miller, Woods has also assisted in significant environmental litigation. As a litigation associate at the Firm, she was involved in every aspect of litigation, at both the trial and appellate level, and has appeared and argued before both state and federal judges.
