Ice Miller Welcomes Attorney Sarah Sweet

Sarah Sweet is an attorney in Ice Miller’s Trusts, Estates and Private Wealth Practice Group. Prior to joining Ice Miller, Sarah practiced litigation at a Milwaukee firm. She counseled her clients through every stage of the litigation process, from research and strategic planning to pre-trial and post-trial support.

She assisted clients by providing pleadings, removal petitions, all forms of discovery, various motions and briefs, motions to dismiss, motions for summary judgment, motions for judgment on pleadings and motions in limine in various commercial litigation and products liability cases. In addition, Sarah took depositions for fact witnesses, expert witnesses and corporate representatives as well as participated in settlement negotiations and mediations.

“Sarah’s experience in litigation has equipped her with a thorough strategic planning background that will be a tremendous asset to the Trusts, Estates and Private Wealth Group,” said Steve Humke, chief managing partner of Ice Miller. “We’re very excited to welcome her to the Firm.”

Sarah earned her juris doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law, where she served as a teaching assistant, acted as articles editor for the Journal of Business and Intellectual Property and competed in moot court competitions. She graduated from Marquette University, magna cum laude, with a bachelor’s degree in writing-intensive English and a minor in political science.
