Ice Miller Welcomes Attorney Thomas Bousnakis

Ice Miller LLP is pleased to welcome Thomas Bousnakis to the Firm. Tom serves as of counsel in the Litigation Practice in the Firm’s New York office.

Tom advises clients in a diverse array of industries. He has significant experience providing litigation and advisory services in the financial, pharmaceutical, transportation and entertainment sectors as well as in conducting internal investigations on behalf of multinational corporations.

“Tom has a breadth of knowledge and experience in litigation,” said Steve Humke, chief managing partner of Ice Miller. “In addition to counseling clients through litigation in his own law practice, he has provided counsel on litigation strategies and techniques across a myriad of different industries.”

In addition to his private practice, Tom maintains an active pro bono practice where he focuses on providing legal services to members of underserved communities. His pro bono accomplishments include obtaining legal protection for domestic violence victims, achieving asylum for foreign nationals who endured persecution in three separate countries before fleeing to the U.S. and taking part in litigation challenging the now-defunct federal Defense of Marriage Act.

Tom earned his juris doctor from the University of Michigan Law School in 2010. He graduated, magna cum laude, from Fitchburg State University with a Bachelor of Science in history in 2004.
