Ice Miller Welcomes Evan Sarosi

Ice Miller LLP welcomes Evan Sarosi as an associate in the Firm’s Business Group. Evan focuses his practice on representation of institutional investors and other limited partners in alternative investments. He also concentrates his practice on private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions involving debt and equity offerings.
“We’re glad to have Evan join our group,” said Rob Ouellette, vice chair of Ice Miller's Business Group. “Evan has valuable experience serving as counsel in the corporate world, which allowed him a smooth transition to provide assistance to our investing clients.”
In the alternative investments space, Evan represented institutional LPs in their investments through a diverse array of strategies including venture capital, buyout, real estate, subordinated debt, and mezzanine equity. He also represented such clients in co-investments, alternative fund structures, and secondary sales.
Evan earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan in 2008. In 2013, Evan graduated concurrently with his JD from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and his MPA from the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs. During law school, he served as an articles editor on the Federal Communications Law Journal and spent a semester working at the Securities and Exchange Commission in the Division of Trading and Markets.
