Ice Miller Welcomes Partner David Kolodny

David Kolodny is a partner in Ice Miller’s Business Services Group. With more than 30 years of experience, David works on M&A, finance and general corporate matters, including cross border transactional matters.

For more than a decade, David served as the primary outside counsel to a leading global manufacturer of medical devices and other health care products and represented that company in numerous U.S. and cross border asset and stock acquisitions, sales, financings, interest rate swaps and contract negotiations.

“Corporate clients, from borrowers to buyers and sellers of businesses, can rely on David for counsel through even their most sophisticated transactions,” said Steve Humke, chief managing partner of Ice Miller. “Our Business Services team is excited to tap into his many years of experience.”

David has represented companies in a wide variety of industries including medical products manufacturers, fire sprinkler manufacturers, beverage distributors, automobile lessors, dairy processors, staffing companies, real estate developers, investors, hedge funds and financial services companies. He has extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions, secured transactions, international matters and serving as outside general counsel to privately held companies.

He earned his juris doctor from New York University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree with honors from Johns Hopkins University.
