Partner Michael Coleman Inducted into the Central Ohio Junior Achievement’s Business Hall of Fame

Ice Miller is pleased to congratulate partner Michael Coleman for his induction into the Central Ohio Junior Achievement’s Business Hall of Fame. As a 2022 Hall of Fame Laureate, Coleman joins a distinguished group of forward-thinking and accomplished community leaders in Ohio.

At Ice Miller, Coleman is Partner In-Charge of the Government Law Group and Vice Chair of the Public Affairs Group. In this role, he is responsible for leading Ice Miller's legal and professional team in Ohio.

Coleman is also the former Mayor and CEO of the City of Columbus. He served as Mayor for fifteen years, from 2000 to 2015. As Mayor, Coleman built Columbus’ reputation as one of the best cities in the nation by establishing stronger, safer neighborhoods, creating jobs and maintaining a high quality of life. Today, Columbus is the 14th largest city in the nation, the largest city in Ohio and the fastest growing city in the Midwest.

Coleman managed all financial, budgetary and economic development matters for Columbus, and sourced private investments in support of urban development initiatives. He also developed new racial equity, diversity and inclusion programs such as minority business development initiatives, immigration policy matters and more.
