As attorneys, we are fortunate to have the education and training necessary to assist less privileged members of our community in their time of need, such as with issues concerning housing, relationships, finance management or their very freedom and access to justice. Pro bono work can trigger change in the legal landscape for those seeking equality and equity in the justice system. Providing pro bono legal services is an important role of an attorney and doing so benefits the community as a whole.
