Aaron R. Ettelman is a partner in Ice Miller’s Intellectual Property Group. His practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property rights, including patent prosecution, counseling and opinions, due diligence, post-issuance proceedings, litigation and licensing.
Aaron's practice has included work in liquid crystal display technology, electro-optic materials, organic synthesis, pharmaceuticals, vitamins and dietary supplements, agricultural adjuvants and actives, cosmetics, surfactants, measurement devices and sensors, medical devices, fuels and lubricants, coatings, plastics and polymers, electrochemical and battery sciences, semiconductors and nonvolatile memory, mineral extraction and textile treatments.
Earlier in his career, Aaron was the chief intellectual property counsel and assistant secretary for the U.S. subsidiary of a global specialty chemicals company where he was responsible for all North American IP matters.
Aaron received his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry with honors in 1995 from Lehigh University and his juris doctor in 1999 from Temple University Beasley School of Law where he was a staff member at the Temple Law Review.
Aaron is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is a member of the Pennsylvania and Delaware Bars.
