Amy Dygert is an associate in Ice Miller’s Employee Benefits Group where she advises clients on retirement plans, health plans, compensation packages and other benefits.

Amy graduated from Washington University School of Law in 2018. While in law school, she was the chief executive articles editor for the Washington University Journal of Law and Policy, president of the Labor & Employment Law Society and treasurer of the Health Law Society. In addition, Amy was a judicial intern to the Honorable Sarah Evans Barker in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. As a judicial intern, she researched and wrote judicial opinions, analyzed substantive and procedural issues in civil cases and observed court proceedings. As a research assistant for a professor at Washington University School of Law, she researched wage and hour claims and their alternatives for unpaid internships.

Prior to law school, Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and a Master of Arts in museum studies. During law school, she continued to pursue her passion for the arts and philanthropy by volunteering for Volunteer Lawyers and Accountants for the Arts and earning a certificate in Public Interest Law.

In her free time, Amy enjoys running marathons and half-marathons.
