Arqeil Shaw is an Associate in Ice Miller’s Business Group.

Arqeil was a summer associate at Ice Miller in 2019.

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Arqeil was a student mentor for the REACH (Re-Entry Assistance Community Help) Program. In this role, Arqeil assisted qualified supervisees in their transition back into the Indianapolis community to reduce recidivism. He also served as an intern for the Indiana Supreme Court’s Office of Court Services where he conducted research on a number of topics including proposed civil and criminal legislation and protective order and post-conviction relief issues.

During law school, Arqeil was the president of SCRAP (Second Chance Re-Entry Assistance Program, a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and the Black Law Student Association. In addition, he was IU McKinney’s head representative to the American Bar Association and participated in the ABA’s Pathway into the Law Mentor program. Arqeil also received a fellowship to the Indiana Conference for Legal Education Opportunity (ICLEO).

As an undergraduate student, Arqeil was active in the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity, where he served as president during the 2014-2015 academic year. He was also a member of the Indiana State track team, which earned three indoor and three outdoor MVC Track & Field Championships and 10 all-conference individual awards.
