Bradley Jones is a partner in Ice Miller’s Real Estate Group. His practice focuses on intricate real estate transactions involving tax credit financing, including low-income housing developments, historic rehabilitations and energy projects. 

Prior to joining the firm, Jones was a member of the tax credit group at an Omaha-based law firm. Jones has extensive experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating documents for multi-million dollar investments in real estate projects, including low-income housing, historic rehabilitations and energy projects. Additionally, he has reviewed financing documents, federal housing subsidy documents, Rental Assistance Demonstration program documents and Housing Assistance Payments subsidy documents. 

Jones was selected to The Best Lawyers in America© “Ones to Watch” in Tax Law for 2021-2022. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2006. In 2013, he earned his juris doctorate, magna cum laude, from Creighton University School of Law. Additionally, he earned his Master of Laws in Taxation from University of Washington School of Law in 2014.

  • Drafted, reviewed and negotiated equity documents for multi-million dollar investments in tax credit-financed real estate projects, including low-income housing, historic rehabilitations and energy projects
  • Reviewed and negotiated multi-million dollar commercial loan and tax-exempt bond documents in connection with multi-family real estate projects
  • Reviewed documents in connection with federal housing subsidies, including Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program and Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) subsidies
  • Representation of developers, investors and syndicators in multi-investor and proprietary upper-tier tax credit funds, including reviewing and negotiating fund agreements, investor side letter agreements and tax opinions
  • Representation of large institutional clients in transactions involving the transfer and/or disposition of partnership interests or assets, including the drafting of amendments and assignment and assumption agreements
