Brian White is an associate in Ice Miller’s Business Services Group. Brian has experience in complex civil litigation matters and representing financial institutions, commercial finance companies, private equity lenders, as well as operating companies and private equity borrowers in syndicated and single-lender asset-based and cash flow senior secured loan transactions for transportation financing, working capital financing, acquisition financing, split collateral secured loan transactions, second lien loan transactions and other related matters.
Prior to joining Ice Miller, Brian was an associate at an international business-focused law firm serving clients of all sizes and industries. He represented lessors, lessee-operators, asset management companies, transportation finance companies, private equity investors and financiers and other financial institutions in conducting underlying diligence, structuring, negotiating, documenting and closing sale-leaseback, aircraft acquisition, asset-backed securitization and senior-secured debt finance transactions.
Brian also has experience representing commercial finance companies, private equity financiers and other financial institutions in conducting diligence of target acquisition companies’ existing real estate leases and employment, confidentiality, technology licensing, vendor and servicing agreements, analyzing terms of asset/stock purchase agreements and negotiating and documenting related
senior-secured finance transactions. He has represented financial institutions, middle- and upper-market operating companies and private equity funds in advising, structuring, negotiating and closing structured finance, asset securitization and secured finance transactions.
During law school, Brian was an executive articles editor for the Georgetown Journal of Law & Modern Critical Race Perspective.

- Representation of private equity fund in its $1.0 billion acquisition (and parallel financing) and subsequent leaseback to a major international aircraft operator of a portfolio comprised of 32 aircraft
- Representation of asset management company in its strategic acquisition and related workout restructuring of existing $100 million senior-secured debt finance facility
- Representation of commercial bank in its administration of syndicated $240 million revolving loan credit facility to a full-service freight railcar leasing company involving collateral primarily consisting of receivables generated by eligible railcar leases
- Representation of commercial bank in its administration of letter of credit and revolving loan credit facilities to an aluminum production company and its subsidiaries for working capital financing, acquisition financing, refinancing of existing debt and issuance/redemption of corporate bonds
- Representation of commercial bank in its administration of revolving loan, term loan and delayed draw term loan credit facilities to an IT infrastructure management solutions company for working capital financing, leveraged buy-outs and acquisition financings and refinancing of existing debt
- Representation of commercial bank in its administration of a syndicated $350 million revolving loan credit, multicurrency facility to a computer hardware, software and IT solutions company and related $175 million acquisition financing term loan facility
- Representation of full-service dining company in its $1.2 billion whole-business securitization involving collateral consisting primarily of intellectual property and real property
- Representation of private individual in drafting and successfully arguing motions to compel deposition testimony and deposing municipal employees to establish defenses for a breach-of-contract lawsuit
