Cameron Ritsema is an associate in Ice Miller’s Labor, Employment and Immigration and Litigation Groups. He represents employers in the full range of labor and employment law matters, including litigation, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and National Labor Relations Board administrative matters and development of employer policies and practices. In addition to his employment work, Cameron also represents clients in complex litigation, including transactional matters and regulatory compliance.

In 2014, Cameron graduated, cum laude, from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science in political science. He graduated from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2018. While in law school, Cameron was a managing editor for the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies and a Sherman Minton Moot Court participant, as well as a practice group advisor.

In addition to his time as a summer associate at Ice Miller, Cameron gained considerable legal experience working at a Texas law firm as a summer associate. He engaged in deposition preparation for institutional investor deponents in securities litigation cases, reviewed documents for discovery productions and completed legal research. He also edited the Mortgage and Asset Backed Securities Litigation Handbook, which was published by Thomson Reuters.

Cameron was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps and served as the fire direction center chief for a company-level mortar section.

In his spare time, Cameron enjoys hiking, rock climbing and spending time outdoors.
