Caroline Lee is a rebate analyst for Ice Miller’s Public Finance Practice, where she provides arbitrage rebate compliance services relative to tax-exempt bond issues.
Caroline is an arbitrage rebate professional with 20 years of experience in the preparation of arbitrage rebate and yield-restriction analyses and calculations for a diverse client base, including governmental entities and municipalities, health care institutions and facilities, colleges and universities, and other 501(c)(3) organizations. In applying the arbitrage rebate and yield-restriction rules and requirements of the Treasury Regulations, she assists borrowers in determining post-issuance compliance in order to maintain the tax-exempt status of a bond issue. Her experience includes the preparation of spending exception analyses, transferred proceeds calculations, commingled fund allocations, variable-rate yield computations and other methodologies.
Prior to joining Ice Miller, Caroline was a Vice President for BNY Mellon Corporate Trust. Caroline also gained valuable experience at Pinnacle Arbitrage Compliance and Ernst & Young LLP.
