Chelsea Abramowitz is an attorney in Ice Miller’s Business Services and Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice Groups.

Chelsea earned her juris doctor from Fordham University School of Law, where she was an articles editor for the Fordham Intellectual Property, Media & Entertainment Law Journal and a member of the Dispute Resolution Society ABA Mediation Competition Team. She held legal internships with two New York law firms and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. At these internships, she conducted legal research and drafted motions, discovery requests and other legal documents and wrote memoranda on various topics including breach of contract, personal jurisdiction disputes, employment discrimination and class action formation.

Chelsea was also a fellow with the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office, where she second-sat a felony trial and drafted responses to motions to suppress and motions to controvert. In addition, Chelsea served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Gerald Lebovitz of the New York Supreme Court.

She graduated from Tulane University with a bachelor’s degree in public health and a minor in economics.
