Chelsea Kurth is Of Counsel in Ice Miller’s Health Care Group. Chelsea focuses her practice on federal and state regulatory issues and also advises clients on contractual, licensing, and other health care-related matters. She represents a wide variety of health care clients, including physicians, medical groups, hospitals, health systems, and clinical laboratories.
Chelsea earned her Bachelor of Arts in history, cum laude, from Hanover College in 2011. While at Hanover, she played on the varsity softball team for four years.
Chelsea graduated, magna cum laude, from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2015. During law school, Chelsea completed externships with the Honorable Edward W. Najam, Jr., of the Indiana Court of Appeals and the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office. She was also a member of the Dean’s Tutorial Society, the Staton Intramural Moot Court Competition Order of the Barristers, and served as an associate editor for the Indiana Law Review.
Chelsea clerked at Ice Miller as a summer associate in 2014 and practiced as a litigation associate at the firm from 2015 until 2018. Chelsea then spent three years serving as general counsel for the Indiana State Medical Association, Indiana’s largest professional association for physicians, before returning to Ice Miller in 2022.
Chelsea is admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana.
