Dan Durocher is an associate in Ice Miller’s Business Group. He focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and general corporate matters.

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Dan worked as a corporate attorney for a Dayton-based law firm. In that role, he represented clients in strategic M&A transactions. Dan has negotiated and drafted all types of deal documents, including confidentiality agreements, indications of interest, letters of intent, asset purchase agreements, stock purchase agreements and various ancillary documents. He is also well-versed in performing legal due diligence and drafting related reports.

In 2014, Dan earned his juris doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law. During law school, he was a staff writer for the Law Review and was a member of the Business Law Association.

Before beginning his legal career, Dan was an infantry officer in the United States Army.  He deployed to Afghanistan in 2010, where he led a multinational force. He medically retired from the Army in 2013. During his service, he earned the Bronze Star Medal, the Army Achievement Medal and the Combat Infantryman Badge. 

Dan earned his Bachelor of Arts from Norwich University in 2007 and his MBA from Wright State University in 2018.

Dan and his wife, Emma, have three daughters: Bridget, Portia and Virginia.
