Daniel Meiklejohn is an associate attorney at Ice Miller. His practice includes advising clients on wealth transfers; trusts; estate and gift planning; tax planning; business owner transition planning; premarital agreements; and estate and trust administration. Daniel enjoys helping clients navigate tax and trust laws to more efficiently and effectively create a tailored estate plan that aligns with their evolving goals and objectives. He also enjoys working closely with business owners to help develop and implement a tailored "transition plan" to establish a clear runway towards a successful "transition" from their closely-held businesses.

Daniel's experience is in estate and gift planning, tax planning, trusts, financial planning, business owner transition planning, and wealth transfer strategies. Daniel previously worked as a Wealth Strategist at Oxford Financial Group, a Tax Senior at Ernst & Young and a Wealth Advisory Analyst at JPMorgan. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP).

Daniel graduated from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a double major in Finance and Accounting and from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law with his juris doctor degree.  He is a member of the Indiana CPA Society (INCPAS), the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Indianapolis Bar Association (IndyBar), the Indiana State Bar Association (ISBA), and the American Bar Association (ABA).

Daniel enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, sports and people who smile, but most importantly, spending time with his wife, Kayla, and their sons, Calvin and Conrad.
