Dayna Boes is a paralegal in Ice Miller’s Workplace Solutions Group, where she focuses on assisting firm clients in immigration matters.
Dayna’s previous experience as an immigration paralegal includes preparing various employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions, including H-1B, R-1, TN, O-1, I-140 and PERM applications. She also prepared family-based immigration petitions and applications, as well as nonimmigrant and immigrant visa applications.
Prior to her work as a paralegal, Dayna was the immigration coordinator for the University of Toledo, where she managed employment-based immigration matters (H-1B, PERM and I-140) and served as a Designated School Official (DSO) for the university’s F-1 program. Dayna was also a co-instructor for Learning Through Service, a semester-long academic course focused on facilitating students’ leadership and global understanding that led 20 students to Les Cayes, Haiti for a weeklong service trip.
Dayna earned her Master of Education in higher education from the University of Toledo. During her postgraduate studies, Dayna worked as a graduate assistant to help plan the university’s 2013 China Summer Leadership Academy. She coordinated Chinese visa applications for 21 students and faculty members and traveled to China to participate in the program. Dayna also attended the University of Toledo as an undergraduate, earning a Bachelor of Arts in astronomy.
