Elizabeth McKillip is a partner in the Trusts, Estates and Private Wealth Group where she advises clients on estate planning and estate tax issues. She works with trustees, trust beneficiaries, and heirs regarding probate court matters, trust administration and asset distribution. She also assists in the appointment of guardians for disabled adults and minors.
Elizabeth also has experience representing clients in a wide range of business and commercial matters, including cases involving consumer fraud, breach of contract, negligence, fraud and other contract disputes. She regularly represents individual or bank fiduciaries as Trustees in trust or estate related litigation. As part of her practice she has pursued appeals before the Illinois Appellate Court.
She graduated with honors from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2001. Elizabeth received her juris doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. During college, she was a member of the
Loyola University Chicago Law Journal and editor of the
Illinois Judicial Conference Symposium.
