Gregory Barr is an associate in Ice Miller’s Business Group.

Prior to joining Ice Miller, Gregory worked as senior counsel for a Fortune 100 company. In this role, he advised business teams on a wide variety of legal issues, including commercial contracts, contract interpretation, regulatory issues, and customer and supplier disputes.

Previously, Gregory worked in the debt finance practice group of a large Chicago law firm, where he represented borrowers and lenders in a wide range of financing transactions. Gregory also has experience with mergers and acquisitions, and corporate matters.

In 2014, Gregory earned his juris doctor from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. During law school, he served as an articles editor for the Northwestern Journal of Technology & Intellectual Property.

Gregory earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics and history, cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame in 2009. In 2011, he graduated from the University of California, Davis with his Master of Arts in economics.
